Reached via side roads from the Princes Highway and The Avenue, many professionals live in the higher streets which command spectacular views out to the ocean. Norman Street,

An inner western suburb of Wollongong, Mount Mangerton is the name of the hill on which Mangerton resides. The hill also incorporates Mount Saint Thomas, a lower peak south of Mangerton. Mangerton was formerly known as ‘Hospital Hill’ because of its close proximity to Wollongong’s major hospital and indeed many of the cities’ doctors and their families have lived and still live in the suburb to this day.

The largest portion of the population are employed full time and in general they are professional who travel to work by car.
